Home boarding is an alternative to kennels where your dog stays in a home environment as part of the family.
Your dog will stay in my home alongside my own family in a safe, comfortable, and supervised environment.
I keep numbers limited to ensure every dog receives plenty of individual care, attention, and supervision. I am licensed for 4 and I only take small and medium size dogs (20kg max)
Yes — all new dogs must attend a meet & greet at my home before booking is confirmed. This helps ensure your dog is comfortable and suitable for home boarding.
Yes, I am licensed for home boarding and fully insured. Licensed with Bolton MBC no 142021. Insurance is with Pet Business Insurance
Dogs must be up to date with their core vaccinations. I will need to see a copy of the vaccination record.
Kennel cough vaccination is recommended but not mandatory. If your dog has this it must be administered 3 weeks before any boarding, this is due to it being a live vaccine and it can shed to others.
Dogs should also be regularly treated for fleas and worms.
I do not accept intact male dogs for home boarding.
Females in season cannot be accepted under any circumstances.
Dogs usually receive 2 walks per day depending on:
age
health
weather conditions
owner preferences
Please bring:
food
lead/harness
bed or blanket if preferred
any medication
I try to keep routines as close to home as possible where practical. This can be discussed during the meet & greet.
Yes, dogs may socialise with other friendly boarded dogs in a controlled and supervised environment.
If your dog becomes unwell or requires veterinary care, I will contact you immediately.
If urgent treatment is needed, I reserve the right to seek veterinary attention in your dog’s best interests.
Yes — I regularly send photo and message updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy and settled. I use WhatsApp for this.
The safety and wellbeing of all dogs is my priority.
If a dog displays behaviour that is unsafe or unsuitable for home boarding, owners or emergency contacts may be required to arrange collection.
Simply get in touch via:
phone or email
I’ll then arrange a meet & greet.
Yes — trial days or overnight stays may be recommended for some dogs before longer bookings, especially for first-time boarders.
I welcome dogs from Farnworth, Bolton, Walkden, Worsley, and surrounding Greater Manchester areas. Dog home boarding in the Northwest.
Owners must clearly state whether they consent to off-lead walking.
Dogs will only be walked off lead where deemed safe and appropriate and have impeccable recall.
