By making a booking with Home Boarding with Louise, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms, Conditions, and Policies.
I provide licensed home boarding in my family home environment.
To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all dogs in my care:
Dogs must be friendly and comfortable around other dogs.
Dogs must be suitable for living in a home environment.
I usually board a maximum of tfour small or medium-sized dogs at any one time.
I reserve the right to refuse or end a booking if a dog displays behaviour that may place themselves, other dogs, or people at risk.
This includes:
aggression
excessive distress
destructive behaviour
persistent indoor toileting
unsafe behaviour around children or other dogs
All new dogs must attend a meet & greet before booking confirmation.
This helps ensure your dog is comfortable, settled, and suitable for home boarding.
Drop off and collection times are between:
7:30am – 7:30pm
Earlier daytime drop offs are recommended where possible to allow dogs time to settle before bedtime.
Home Boarding is charged per 24 hours.
Extended care on collection day is charged at:
£16 for up to 8 additional hours
A booking is not confirmed until a 50% deposit has been received.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 2 weeks before the boarding start date.
Full payment may be required in advance during peak periods.
For direct bookings:
Full refunds are available for cancellations made more than 2 weeks before the booking start date.
Cancellations made within 2 weeks of the booking start date are non-refundable.
Owners are advised to check that their travel insurance covers pet boarding cancellation fees.
In accordance with licensing requirements, all dogs must be fully vaccinated.
Primary vaccination courses must be completed at least 2 weeks before boarding.
Vaccinations are required against:
Canine parvovirus
Canine distemper
Canine adenovirus (infectious canine hepatitis)
Leptospirosis
Kennel cough vaccination is recommended but not mandatory.
If your dog receives the live intranasal kennel cough vaccine, it must be administered at least 3 weeks before boarding.
Owners must provide proof of vaccination before boarding.
Dogs must be up to date with flea and worm treatment before boarding.
If fleas are discovered during a stay, a £50 decontamination charge will apply.
Effective veterinary-prescribed flea treatment is strongly recommended.
I am unable to accept unneutered male dogs for boarding.
Female dogs in season cannot be accepted under any circumstances.
In the event of illness or emergency, I will attempt to contact the owner immediately.
If veterinary treatment is required, I reserve the right to seek treatment from:
Your registered veterinary practice where possible
My local veterinary practice if necessary
All veterinary costs incurred during boarding remain the responsibility of the owner.
Owners may provide consent for canine CPR to be performed in an emergency situation if considered appropriate.
Whilst every reasonable care and precaution will be taken, dogs board entirely at the owner’s risk.
